#LFW Fashi-Off's Picks

La settimana della moda londinese è certamente quella più fresca, giovane e creativa, dove i giovani designers vengono accolti a braccia aperte da una città sempre in evoluzione e in costante cambiamento, culla della dei trend emergenti e di chi ama sperimentare.

Occhi puntati dunque su nomi che oramai si stanno affermando nella cultura del fashion system mondiale come Christopher Kane, Christopher Baily per Burberry, David Koma e la greca Mary Kantranzou.

E' una settimana particolare, ricca di eventi e sorprese, tutti hanno parlato delle first row con ospiti come della tanto attesa Lana del Rey da Mulberry o della serata in compagnia di top model e star come Rihanna da Stella Mc Cartney per la linea Evening.

Stilisticamente parlando i trend emersi hanno posto l'accento sulla crisi economica che ha colpito tutto il mondo, decidendo di proporre abiti con volumi che possano durare nel tempo, più rigorosi e senza fronzoli. Si confermano anche a Londra grazie a Burberry, Aquascutum e McQ anche i look militari, dati da cappotti lunghi con dettagli di bottoni dorati, tasche multiuso dai tagli rigidi e costruiti. I mercati asiatici in forte espansione arrivano anche in passerella, con ispirazioni da Sol Levante ecco cinture Obi da Acne, opulenza di broccati e stampe floreali da Osman e Piter Pilotto. Tra i colori predominanti vi sono i nuovi turchesi, il rosso fiamma e qualche pennellata di lilla. Tra i materiali spazio ai pellami dall'effetto metallico, i broccati e gli effetti jacquard. Mentre tra i Key Items vediamo le nuove linee a trapezio presentate da Mary Kantranzou, famosa per le sue incredibili grafiche, i pantaloni con la gamba molto ampia da abbinare a nuove giacche con volumi asciutti e corte per nuove proporzioni e le pencil skirts.

The London Fashion Week is certainly the most fresh, young and creative, where young designers are welcomed with open arms by a city that is always evolving and constantly changing, the cradle of the emerging trends and who loves to experiment.All eyes, therefore, of the names that now are emerging in the culture of the fashion industry worldwide as Christopher Kane, Christopher Bailey for Burberry, David Koma and the young greek Mary Kantranzou.It 'a particular week, full of surprises and events, everyone spoke of the first row with guests such as the long-awaited Lana del Rey from Mulberry or evening dinner with top models and stars like Rihanna for Stella McCartney.Stylistically trends have emerged emphasizing the economic crisis that has swept around the world, decided to bring clothes with timeless volumes, more rigorous, no frills. It also confirmed in London thanks to Burberry,Aquascutum and McQ,the military looks, given by long coats with details like gilt buttons, multi-purpose pockets. Asian markets are booming arriving in catwalk, with inspirations from the Rising Sun by Acne Obi belts, opulent brocade and floral prints by Osman and Piter Pilotto. The predominant colors are the new turquoise, red flame and some touch of lilac. Instead the materials are: metallic effect leather, brocade and jacquard effects.While in the Key Items we see the new trapeze shapes presented by Mary Kantranzou, famous for its amazing graphics; very wide leg trousers to pair with new jackets with slim and short volumes for new proportions and pencil skirts.

#NYFW Fashioff's Picks

Da circa una settimana da New York sono partire le sfilate che vedono protagonista il pret-a-porter della prossima stagione Fall/Winter 12.

Come di consueto la settimana della moda newyorchese è caratterizzata da una moda per lo più dal daily look, il senso pratico della donna americana è portavoce di marchi storici come Donna Karan, Micheal Kors, Carolina Herrera e il tanto amato dalla Signora Wintour, Oscar della Renta. Marchi che soprattutto in tempi di crisi preferisco un approccio conservatore e con note di creatività dettate solo dagli abbinamenti colori a volte inconsueti.

A far divertire il popolo fashion, l'unico definibile "genio" incontrastato della moda degli anni zero: Marc Jacobs, che nell'ispirarsi ad una Alice in Wonderland, ha creato un mood fiabesco e magico, con grossi cappelli in velluto, stampe paisly, di grande tendenza e nuovi volumi su gonne, cappotti e abiti.

Il club degli stilistici asiatici non ha deluso, le loro innovazioni nei tagli e nelle forme danno sempre una nota di freschezza alla kermesse americana. E poi ci sono quelli che vengono definiti lo zoccolo duro della moda di New York, i portabandiera, Diane Von Furstemberg e Ralph Lauren. La prima, la regina del "wrap dress", ci rallegra con note bicolor e il secondo, il re del look country chic, ci propone una donna che indossa i capi di un uomo affascinato dal dandismo della fine '800.
