Object of desire: YSL Fall 12 Accessories

Must Have!

---------------------------------

Accessories can speak alone, no frills, elegant and important.
Austere, never rowdy, but impact.
Accessories chosen by Stefano Pilati for his last show with the brand Yves Saint Laurent, before landing in Zegna.
The protagonists are rigid necklaces, bracelets and rings created with an Arum Lily flower (calla in Italian) wrapped around him.
A dark and sophisticated allure for these precious accessories in silver and gold plated to wear strictly on long dress simple and elegant or on a rigorous androgynous suit to emphasize the hidden and mysterious charm that surrounds a long neck or a naked arm. Must Have!

Style Notes: Leather T-shirt

FW12 Yves Saint Laurent

Come indossarla?

Fashi-off's alphabet: E = Elegance

When we talk about "elegance", in our imagination resurfacing some flashback with opulence, classy sparkling princess, movements and waving more or less studied.
Actually its conception is more different and has deeper roots.
Elegance is intangible, abstract, that stay, alas!, just in few person.
Elegance is inborn. Elegant is born, and rarely, is made.
Who try to be it with forcing attitudes is just an individual funny and a bit deluded.
Then exist who is it and don't boast himself.  It's so awesome to see, especially today, some people with gracing movement and in parlance, we're surrounded by bad taste people, vulgar women and ambiguous values men.
The Allure and the art to be stylish: everybody is free to wear the clothes that prefer. It's importance to know and choose properly for place and occasion. I don't want speak about Audrey Hepburn, goddess of elegance, and her style unfortunately too devalued. Elegant people are really few, we must admire them and at least for their style try to learn something.
At the end, pay attention at this assumption: “We must never confuse elegance with snobbery.” (Cit. Yves Saint Laurent)
From Spring Summer 11 Fashion Show here you are the Fashi-off selection in term of Elegance
---------------------------------------------------------

Tom Ford: The Return

Little eyed man, with a incomparable elegance, a creative head able to distinguish between the others men. He is: Tom Ford, he that was able to climb the peak of a company almost in bankrupt as Gucci in the beginning of the '90s, he that left it during the top of success, he that create his own brand starting from a fragrance, he that was able to recognize the importance of the advertise marketing.
When he started, everybody was bewitched by him. He redrawn man contemporary figure never giving up the "sartorlialism" of the old italian dressmaker. His boutique in Madison Avenue is became a luxury Mecca. Then comes the cinema, A Single Man, is another success. Each single scene is full of elegant notes, melancholies, his quintessence is expressed by the teacher's desk image, Colin Firth. At last 2010, is September and into a reserved room in the Boutique opened just for few guests, his friend like Julianne Moore, Beyonce Knowles and Amber Valletta model for his first collection for women. Pass about 6 years from the last women collection for YSL, Women need him, again. A special on his art is in the last issue of Vogue France for her friend Carine Roitfeld. I finish using his words "My customer doesn’t want to wear the same thing she saw on a starlet!” His woman is unique! Tom Ford is returned.

Tom Ford SS11
Poi arriva il cinema, A Single Man è l'ennesimo successo.
