Say Pleats!!!

Quand'ero piccola una delle cose che amavo più fare era la ruota con la gonna. Più la gonna era plissettata e più larga e voluminosa era la sua ruota (plissè soleil). Bellissima, era completamente ricoperta di piccoli fiorellini, una gonna Cacharel, la mia gonna preferita, è ancora lì dentro al mio armadio.
Il plissè è una tecnica di lavorazione che consente, tramite una particolare stiratura e pressatura del tessuto, di ottenere delle piccole pieghe a effetto fisarmonica (plissè accordéon).
Per lo più su gonne e abitini, i tessuti acquisiscono forme e armonie da fiaba, leggerezza e freschezza.
Le passerelle della stagione Spring Summer 2012 sono state il luogo ideale per affermare il trend e anche se da sempre fanno parte dei nostri look, mai come ora, la tendenza è diventata così forte. Da Prada nei suoi toni pastello a Bottega Veneta e Sonia Rykiel per giocare con i mix di colori. Da Lanvin per vesti da guerriera a Haider Ackermann per abiti lunari attraverso bagliori metallici. Chloé e Celine ne hanno fatto il punto di forza delle loro collezioni, nei toni naturali su abiti lunghi i primi, sulla pelle i secondi. Negli anni passati una celebre foto di David Bailey del 1968 ritraeva una scoppiettante giovane della swinging London in un abito candido di plissè svolazzanti. Quando si pensa al plissè in un modo o nell'altro viene associato il concetto di trasparenza, sarà per la leggerezza, sarà per la tipologia di tessuti utilizzati come lo chiffon, georgette e la seta di voile, mille ventaglietti si appoggiano su di noi, facendoci sembrare regine di stile.
