“Benvenuti al mercato di fiori, frutta e verdure appena colte per voi.” Così Rossella Jardini ha presentato la sfilata di Moschino Cheap & Chic. L’ambientazione è perfetta e studiata in ogni minimo dettaglio, grossi tendoni e stand di frutta e fiori coloratissimi. Divertente, estiva e autenticamente made by Moschino. Tutti in piedi in mezzo alle bancarelle ad assistere ad una sfilata molto giovane e fresca, creata per un pubblico under 30, che vuole sembrare spensierato ed ironico. Ironico come il messaggio che si vuol lasciar intendere: iniziare una vita all’insegna della cultura biologica, non solo per la salute, ma anche per la moda! Protagonisti assoluti sono gli abiti che nelle forme hanno richiami anni sessanta, come quello Fragola, quello Sole, Mare, Prato, e l’abito Arcobaleno che forse di secondo nome fa “Pace”. Moltitudine di colori in stampe e abiti crochet. Poi gli ortaggi che si materializzano come stampe su camicie, giacche, pantaloni. Divertenti e vivaci anche gli accessori studiati con una certa attenzione: la raffia si trasforma in cintura; carote e pomodori in bottoni, violette stampate su abiti leggeri e impalpabili, soli che splendono e che ci avvertono che la bella stagione è tornata. E’ con questo romanticismo e con la positività che si deve sorridere al prossimo futuro, ricercando la bellezza delle cose più semplici, quelle della Natura.

“Welcome to the freshly cut flower, fruit and vegetable market.” This is how Rossella Jardini opened Moschino Cheap & Chic showcase. The venue is decorated flawlessly in the style of a market with marquees and colourful fruit and flower stalls creating the atmosphere for the runway show. Fun, very summery and unmistakably Moschino. With the public standing among the market stalls, the models took to the runway showing a young, fresh collection aimed at a woman under 30 who with her style seeks to project humour and a carefree attitude. The whole show is a fun and clever play on the concept of healthy life-style which is good for the body and the fashion industry alike.60’s inspired styles are the big stars of the collection: there are Strawberry, Sun, Sea, Grass and Rainbow dresses – this last one featuring the colours of the Peace flag. Abundance of prints and colours and crochet dresses. Vegetables show up in the guise of prints on shirts, blazers and pants. Fun and playful also the accessories with raffia belts, carrot and tomato-shaped buttons, violets printed on light dresses and a bright yellow sun as a reminder of summer. It’s with this romantic and optimistic attitudethat we should face the future enjoying the good simple things in Nature.
